AGM Minutes & Your Committee
The annual NORA AGM was held at Ba-Pita on the 7th April 2022. The committee members as voted for by the NORA Residents are Nadine Hocter, Brendan Lombard (Finance), Trevor Lunt, Brett McDougall, Taryn Rose. The committee meets once a month and volunteers are welcome. The committee is chaired by Cindy Meltzer. Belinda Echeozonjoku and Eleanor Huggett, our ward councillors, also attend our meetings.
Committee members receive no remuneration and are volunteers.

AGM Minutes & Your New Committee
NORA has a new executive committee, voted in by NORA members at the NORA AGM held on 28 April 2021. The new committee has met once since then and responsibilities have been assigned to the members. The new executive committee is chaired by Cindy Meltzer. The other members of the committee are Phumi Setlioane, Luvuyo Lekwane, Nadine Hocter, Brendan Lombard (Finance), Trevor Lunt, Brett McDougall, Taryn Rose, Matthew van der Want (secretary), and Pam Tadich. Dave Fisher and Eleanor Huggett, ward councillors, also attend our meetings.
Committee members receive no remuneration and are volunteers.

SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING 3 JUNE 2019

AGENDA:
1. To consider the following resolution:
To incorporate Oaklands into the Norwood Orchards Residents Association on the following conditions:
1 – Oaklands residents contribute to the finances of NORA by paying membership subs; and
2 – Oaklands residents participate on the committee of NORA.
Should this resolution be adopted by a majority of NORA members in attendance, then:
2. To consider a name change of the Norwood Orchards Residents Association (incorporating The Gardens and Cheltondale) to the Norwood Oaklands Residents Association (incorporating Orchards, The Gardens and Cheltondale).
And
3. To consider a proposed new constitution for the Norwood Oaklands Residents Association (incorporating Orchards, The Gardens and Cheltondale).
Agenda items (2) and (3) are to be decided on by a majority of residents, property owners and business owners in the suburbs of Norwood, Orchards, The Gardens, Cheltondale and Oaklands.
