We Want a Cleaner Grant Avenue! - 19 November 2017

On Sunday the 19th of November, between 10h00 and 12h00, we want you to join us to clean up Grant Avenue, and to encourage Grant Avenue businesses to take greater pride in our neighbourhood!

A cleaner Grant Avenue will attract more customers who will spend more - clean streets are good for business! In addition to cleaning our high street, we will be handing out pamphlets to business owners requesting that they keep their pavements and gutters clean, don't sweep dirt onto the road, don't put business waste into the municipal dustbins on the road, don't leave business waste in black bags on the street, and confront those who litter!

We meet on the corner of Grant and Nellie.

Gardening in the Park - 04 November 2017

We're giving Norwood Park a little tender loving care this Saturday.

Bring your spade, fork and pruning shears and get a little dirty. Too physical? Then bring us something beautiful - preferably indigenous and water wise - and we'll plant it for you! Too little time to do anything? Then give us a donation towards our efforts!

We meet at Norwood Park, close to the Grant and Henrietta intersection, at 9am on Saturday 4 November.
