The Johannesburg Heritage Foundation has recently published a heritage study on the Orange Grove Waterfall and surrounding area. In it author Brett McDougall covers not only the Waterfall, but also the Orange Grove Hotel, the Victory Theatre, residential architecture, and the famous personalities who enlivened the neighbourhood. It makes a fascinating read!
